Family Summer Program
Exhibition Design by Wendy Osmond
The immersive multimedia and multisensory family space is conceived as several connecting zones of play:
The Plankton forest is a multimedia zone with lightshow, sculptures and soundscape, playfully based in the science of diatoms and dinoflagellates. Two hiding places, the Big Fish tent and the Little Squid tent give refuge in the open space.
The Create Zone includes an Audio Drawing program in an inflatable Undersea Cave and five craft activity stations.
The Discovery Zone includes the Mini Museum and Discovery Carts - a place for contemplation and interactivity with objects and props.
At the centre of the space, The Blue Blocks arena provides higher-energy play, presided over by the giant inflatable Puffer fish.
